The goliath of the Morphos! This monster butterfly is arguably the most gorgeous butterfly we carry. Many vendors sell the Morpho Menelaus under the name of Morph Didius but they are very different species. The Menelaus is much smaller and more aqua in color - as this picture shows- the Didius is a deeper- darker blue than the Menelaus pictured below. Beyond the beautiful deep blue- the Didius reflects a deep purple at certain angles. This is an instant favorite!
