Related to the fabulous birdwing butterflies- the Troides Cuneifera is related to the Rhadamanus but has a couple distinctions that make this butterfly remarkably different - the splash of sunshine in the forewings and the larger surface area of yellow on the hind wing. Lastly- the Cuneifera has a dark brown fore wing instead of the black hue found in the Rhadamanus. Perhaps it is fair to say that the Cuneifera is the happy brother of the stern Rhadamanus.
