Details

This huge moth is found in the same area as the largest moth in the world - the Atticus Atlas - which is so gargantuan that natives occasionally mistake them for bats! The eye spots on this moth are actually clear - they appear silver in hue but if you look closely, you will notice that they are see-through. Don't forget to check out their cool pectinnae (antennae); because the pectinnae are particularly beautiful, this species is a must for the collector's mount!
