Recommendations & Factoids
This moth looks fabulous in any mount. However, we don't suggest a riker mount because of its rarity - if you are going to purchase this beauty, treat it like the king it is and get it framed nicely!
Details
Punctuated by an unbelievably LONG and gorgeous tail, this is by far the most gorgeous, exotic moth that anyone carries worldwide (apart from perhaps the popular Urania Ripheus because of its colors). Commonly referred to as the Malaysian Moon Moth or the Comet Moth, this species is rarely offered because it is extremely rare and difficult to obtain. Even fewer reputable dealers carry this product so get yours today! If you are looking for the gift for someone who has everything, this is certainly one of the best choices you could possibly make - and make sure to get a collector's mount because of those fabulous pectinae!
The moth in the photograph measures 150mm from tip to tip (forewings and 190 mm from tip to tip (tails) - that is over seven inches!
