The Anae Consul Fabius has one of those extraordinary wing shapes similar to the Marpesia Petreus - and it has an especially beautiful design to make this a prize piece in your butterfly collection. The Fabius is one of those few "swallow-tail" butterflies that is not a true swallow-tail. It is sometimes referred to as a sword-tail. Lastly- don't miss the camouflage on the underside - it is unmistakably effective but it is also very beautiful as well. Oh - and one more detail - this is one of the few butterflies that has beautiful antennae so make sure to order a collector's mount!
