Belionota Sumptuosa - with "wings" spread

Recommendations & Factoids

Check out the picture - is there any question but that you ought to spread the wings of this amazing beetle for a better display? We don't think so - make sure that it has wings spread.
While this beetle looks nice in our small boxes (the discount box option), you just cannot beat the acrylic box option. The framed boxes look okay but they are a bit large for this beetle - you can custom order a second beetle with those boxes so it doesn't look too lonely!

Details

If you are looking for a metallic dazzler, this is the beetle of choice! Although quite variable in size and coloring, all of these Tricolor Metallic beetles are stunning. You should also note (as displayed in our photos) that the beetle's body is metallic as well - which makes it a great choice to spread the "wings" for your display!
Please note that the "wingspan" description is from tip to tip of the "wings." Collectors should note that the standard length measurement is 25-28mm on average (from the tip of the head to the bottom of the abdomen). Collector's should also note that we actually remove the wings and spread the hood as shown in the photos unless you specifically request otherwise.
The "discount box" option for this beetle will actually be a small shadowbox.
